QA Automation Engineer

You'll be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing processes and frameworks to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our data processing software.
In this role, you will collaborate with an international and multidisciplinary team of engineers and data scientists.

This role is 100% remote. We do NOT offer visa sponsorship for this role. By default, we offer a 1-year contract that has the potency to convert into a fulltime role based on performance and market needs. The ideal candidate appreciates a startup mentality and works in Central European Time zone (CET) or Eastern Time zone (EST).

What You’ll Do:

  • Testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases
  • Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail
  • Work with development team to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation
  • Execute performance and accessibility testing

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in testing complex Web Applications
  • Proficient in profiling and monitoring methodologies
  • Extensive test automation experience using frameworks
  • Infra structure experience is a plus
  • Previous frontend, backend or full stack developer experience is a plus
  • ISTQB Foundational level certification is a plus
  • A work ethic that allows you to work independently and drive results
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Experience in working in a multinational team
